I am not sure if you people remember but in the Washington DC area, two lunatics with a sniper gun started killing dozen of people. The federal and local governments did EVERYTHING they could to catch these two people. With all the resources and technologies of the FBI/CIA and local law enforcement it took months to catch the two people responsible. This is the price we pay to live in a free society: a bunch of coward terrorists can run around and kill innocent civilians and terrorize everyone. This is all the LTTE can now do. They Eelam has now come down to a bunch of lunatics with guns and explosives running around the country killing innocent men, women, and children. With few more incidents targeting innocent civilians, they are going to loose whatever sympathy they have in the IC and even Louis Arbour will see the irony and hypocrisy of these murders discussing human rights.
Sit tight people. Things could and probably will get ugly. The campaign in the North should not be rushed and must be executed according to plan by the military.
Sooner or later the country will belong to all peace loving Sri Lankans and the LTTE can create their Eelam in hell, which is where I hear an increasingly large number of LTTE cadres are congregating once their privilege to live in Sri Lanka is taken away by the SLDF.
